Water law is a legal discipline of special relevance for the maintenance of life on the planet as we understand it today. This element of nature is the vital axis that connects nature, therefore achieving effective solutions to the serious environmental crisis facing humanity depends largely on its proper management. The environmental crisis we are talking about becomes especially worrying in light of the GEO6 report, Sixth Global Environment Outlook Report of 2019, which indicates that human behavior has generated multiple negative effects that involve the entire natural environment, and especially to water resources that have been affected by multiple factors such as transformations in global water cycles, climate change that results in extreme hydrological events (floods and droughts), the decrease in the quantity and quality of available water ( organic and chemical pollution), the loss of freshwater ecosystems (which represent a high rate of decline in biodiversity and ecosystem services), among other effects that translate into serious impacts on the life and health of the beings we inhabit. the earth.
As a protagonist, generator and participant in the global environmental crisis, man has the responsibility to act urgently to moderate his behavior and live his life in harmony with nature, since without it there is no possibility of achieving human well-being and exercise of the rights that have been recognized until today.
