Cátedra unesco derechos humanos y violencia: Gobierno y gobernanza.

This text analyzes problems, solutions and representations regarding human rights, the result of completed research. In relation to the problems, Chapter I studies the individualistic conception of human rights that hinders their effective implementation, while Chapter II reflects on the behavior of the Colombian State before the Inter-American Human Rights System that negatively impacts the guarantee of rights. of the victims.

Regarding solutions, several chapters deal with some public policies aimed at the population victims of the armed conflict and forced internal displacement. Such is the case of chapters VII and VIII which analyze, respectively, the psychosocial intervention strategies aimed at promoting and strengthening mental health in population victims of sociopolitical violence and the actions that the Colombian State has developed with the purpose of guarantee the rights of people with disabilities in the context of internal war.

Regarding the representations about human rights and their violation, the four chapters of the second section of this publication give an account of the experiences and interpretations of some boys and girls from the Jorge Soto del Corral School in Bogotá about the armed conflict and internal forced displacement. Representations that are examined from the educational, narrative, socio-legal and cultural heritage perspective.
