De la reflexión a la práctica

Education is a topic that has begun to occupy increasingly important places on the public agenda, and one of the central discussions is the one that revolves around the professional development of teachers. The question of how to ensure that teachers develop disciplinary, pedagogical and didactic skills to promote better learning in their students has generated multiple initiatives, among them, the Scholarships for Teaching Excellence of the Ministry of National Education, a program of which the Faculty of Education was a part. from the Externado University of Colombia, with his Master's Degree in Depth.

 This book was born as a compilation of the results of said Master's Degree, in two senses. On the one hand, it allows us to show the curricular design of the Deepening Modality and its position regarding the training of practicing teachers and the learning acquired during the first two years of implementation of the proposal, such as the relationship between theory and practice in teachers' reflection. On the other hand, it allows us to compile seven innovation experiences of the teachers who were students of the first cohort and the reflections that this process generated in them. In other words: the book allows us to show the successful reflections made by school teachers, mostly rural in Cundinamarca, under the guidance of teachers from the Faculty of Education.
