This book presents volume IV: "Ethics and good living. Current reflections for the planning and management of tourism", whose objective is to publicize research work related to the development of tourism involving variables such as ethics, well-being, quality of life and happiness, especially in the receiving communities. The works included present a broader and more contemporary vision of tourism in which scenarios and collective practices are built that lead to innovative forms of tourism planning and management. Without a doubt, this publication supports a multidimensional vision of the tourism phenomenon that transcends its merely economic nature (without denying its importance), and therefore, offers a contribution to the visibility of its social, ethical, cultural, political and environmental dimensions. In this sense, tourism developments become complex processes capable of contributing or threatening the well-being, quality of life, coexistence and ethical conception of the various actors involved.

The book presents, on the one hand, research that seeks to raise ethical reflections on the development of tourism, as well as the challenges that destinations face in the face of tourism practices that generate dissatisfaction on the part of communities. On the other hand, the compendium also presents research that analyzes tourism in relation to good living: quality of life, sustainability, well-being and happiness.
