El cerebro social
Expresiones desde la cooperación y la agresión en niños y jóvenes
The notion of a social brain in interaction proposes to understand the activity patterns of the nervous system, as they are embodied and contextualized in the body, in the relational environment of the individual and crossed by their own historicity as a human subject.
The research area Health, Medical Knowledge and Society (Research Center on Social Dynamics of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the Externado University of Colombia) investigates - in its Social Brain, Ecology and Coexistence line - the nature-culture relationships , with emphasis on the understanding of biological interactions and reality construction processes.
This book presents results of a judicious investigation on aggressive and cooperative behaviors in children and young people from nine cities in Colombia, from a perspective that is located on the borders of social sciences and social neuroscience. The topics explored here, such as human ethology, coevolution, altruism, game theory, ontogeny, moral reasoning, social brain, among others, are of great interest to those who want to approach the understanding of our social life and think in innovative ways. to assume it.
