The study of human rights today represents one of the most complex and rich areas for legal operators. This is evident not only in the multiplicity of mechanisms that exist to protect this type of rights but also in the developments of different areas of law that have specialized in their research and knowledge.

Public international law and constitutional law have widely investigated and promoted human rights protection mechanisms, including the Inter-American Human Rights System: however. There are no jobs or studies, national or international, with a specific focus on labor rights and social security. despite the fact that an important part of them can be understood as human rights.

 The contribution of this research lies in this, as it deals with carrying out this study in order to provide legal operators with reference material that allows them to become familiar with this system from a labor law perspective, and thus understand its structure. , its operation, and why and how its provisions are binding for Colombia, in pursuit of which the decisions that its bodies have issued were systematized and analyzed, and which, as precedents that they are, should motivate us to delve deeper into these issues to attend to this type of bodies when appropriate, and thus achieve effectiveness in labor and social security human rights.
