Movilización social en Colombia. Marchas estudiantiles (2011) y Marchas campesinas (2013)
In the years 2011 and 2013 in Colombia, mobilizations were carried out led by two important social actors: students and farmers. This book is the fruit of a work that sought to establish what were the motivations that these social actors had to mobilize; how they were organized locally and nationally; what repertoires of action they used and for what purpose, and what were the patterns of presentation of information about the marches in the country's main media; using framing theory for this purpose. The research was carried out in the Political Communication Research Group of the Faculty of Social Communication-Journalism of the Externado University of Colombia and the PICT project "Social movements as agents of production of meaning, framing processes and symbolic struggle in the fields of education and communication" of the National University of Quilmes (Argentina).
